McMillen Jacobs Water Resources Division, a successful engineering/construction company based out of Boise, ID, is seeking a self-motivated marketing coordinator that is creative, enjoys working on multiple diverse projects throughout the day, and values an environment that promotes learning and development. The ideal coordinator is an exceptional communicator, highly organized, anticipates issues, and knows how to tell a compelling story using words and graphics.

As a marketing coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting marketing and business development efforts to create proposals, presentations, and other sales-related documents that grow the company. Remote work will be considered depending upon experience.

Responsibilities:

  • With minimal supervision, perform research, write, edit, and update project descriptions and resumes.
  • Layout proposals and other marketing materials in InDesign and Word.
  • Create graphics, tables, graphs, charts to support proposal creation, and client presentations.
  • Manage proposal production including supply inventory and ordering, printing, final QA/QC, packaging and shipping.
  • Maintain document management and file-sharing processes.
  • Coordinate content collection with teaming partners and subcontractors.
  • Interview and write articles for the company newsletter and social media sites.
  • Support marketing department and field design assignments on major/strategic efforts such as award submittals, conference materials, marketing campaigns, and branding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or English.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience. (We will consider less experience if the other qualifications and characteristics align.)
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills with previous proofreading/technical editing experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented multi-tasker able to handle numerous time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
  • Creative layout and design experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • Proficient with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom) or aptitude with a desire to learn.
  • Demonstrates strong character, integrity, and work ethic.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment with a willingness to work outside normal business hours to meet deadlines as needed.
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or architecture industries highly preferred.
  • Experience working on federal proposal development (e.g., SF330) is a plus.
  • Familiarity of social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook) is a plus.
  • Ability to use Cosential CRM database is a plus.
