McMillen Jacobs Associates is seeking skilled tradesmen for heavy civil construction projects in the Pacific Northwest region. We are a drug-free workplace, and you must consent to drug test and background check. Following a 30 day assessment period, full-time benefit-eligible employment may be offered. The company expects additional long-term work opportunities in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, California, Montana, Wyoming and other states in the western region.

Concrete Carpenter/Finisher - Concrete carpenter's primary responsibilities include fabrication, setting, and stripping of forming systems; Concrete finisher's primary responsibilities include placing and finishing concrete for heavy civil project consisting of concrete repair and new concrete construction.

General Laborer - Laborers have a general responsibility to provide support and assistance to the other skilled crafts working on the project. Laborers provide support for the carpenters, concrete operations, pipe laying operations, and the general excavation operations. Laborers will also perform other duties assigned by their direct foreman or superintendent.

Foreman - The Foreman's function is to oversee and facilitate all aspects of on-site construction activities or projects. The Foreman will typically lead a crew of 1 to 20 persons and must have first-hand working knowledge of the elements required for execution of the various activities or projects. Involvement begins with pre-construction activities with the Superintendent and continues throughout project completion, contract closeout and warranty.

Equipment Operator - The Equipment Operator's function is to be able to safely operate types of equipment but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, scrapers, grader/blades, and back hoes. The operator must have good operational skills to be able to produce high volume quality work in a safety-conscious work environment. The operator must be able to work with foremen and laborers to produce quality work in high volume time-sensitive conditions.
