Responsibilities
    Performing roadway, drainage, and/or traffic design tasks for a range of projects, including local, arterial, and interstate roadways.
  • Cultivating and maintaining client relationships to ensure satisfaction and project objectives are met.
  • Contributing to marketing efforts, proposal writing, and business development activities, including fostering key client relationships.
  • Engaging with professional organizations and technical societies to stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff and directing CADD personnel in plan production.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering required.
  • ID PE preferred, must be able to attain in 3 months; licenses in other states a plus.
  • 4+ years engineering experience with a background in transportation and/or site civil design, including a combination of roadway, traffic, storm water, irrigation design and utility relocations. Traffic signal and/or roundabout design a plus.
  • Solid understanding of transportation design and construction standards. Additional experience related to traffic engineering, environmental conditions / constraints, hydraulics and drainage experience a plus.
  • Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated skills developing relationships with municipal, county and state agencies in support of transportation and/or site civil projects; experience with ACHD and ITD a plus.
  • Experience with MicroStation, Inroads, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Civil3D 2018.
  • Demonstrated skills developing plan sheets for ITD and/or ACHD.
  • Microsoft Office software applications (including MS Project) experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff and management.
  • Adaptability and ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and team mentality required
