The Instruments Group is passionate about development of state-of-the-art inspection and metrology equipment used in production and research and development environments. Organization is globally located in US, China, and Singapore. We provide critical cost-effective solutions for power electronics, LED, communications, automotive, data storage, and other related nanoelectronics and materials science applications. We partner with our customers to provide state of the art hardware and software to improve yield and lower overall production costs by supplying world-leading inspection, metrology and review systems. In addition to developing valuable product solutions, the group provides support to customers to achieve performance entitlement through sharing and implementation of application BKMs (Best Known Methods).Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. DevOps Engineer in implementing and handling DevOps methodologies and tools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Git, Artifactory, Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/GCP), VMware, Hyper-V, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, static code analysis tools such as SonarQube, and scripting languages (Shell, PowerShell).
Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Artifactory, and other version control systems to facilitate efficient software development processes
Architect, deploy, and handle cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
Expertise in virtualization technologies including VMware and Hyper-V for infrastructure provisioning and maintenance
Implement and run containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and deployment of applications
Apply static code analysis tools like SonarQube to carry out code quality and ensure standard processes across development teams
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell scripting, PowerShell, and other automation tools for streamlining operational tasks
Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams to solve issues, optimize performance, and improve system reliability
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on the mentioned technologies
Extensive hands-on experience with Git, Artifactory, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, Shell scripting, and PowerShell automation
Strong understanding of software development practices, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams across different fields
This is a Hybrid role and will be based out of Ann Arbor, MI
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Minimum six (6) years of validated experience
