KraftHeinz is on the lookout for a Supply Chain Quality Auditor to join a supportive and valued team.

Note: this is a 12 month mat leave cover

Based in our Freshwater Head Office, you will be responsible for ensuring achievement of Customer Satisfaction through the following:

  • To manage activities related to Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) of Ingredient & Packaging material Vendors for relevant area of responsibility outlined by BU lead.
  • To help identify and support Key Quality Strategies and systems for the management of Kraft Heinz FSQ for BU
  • Potential to also manage Co-Pack portfolio as experience increased.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure compliance to Supplier quality processes
  • To manage and resolve FSQ issues in Suppliers in the portfolio of responsibility.
  • To liaise with other Kraft Heinz Supply Chain Quality team in the BU, to ensure a co-ordinated and optimised supplier approval strategy.
  • To ensure that all approval/audit schedules in the portfolio are up to date based on risk assessments.
  • Ensure all Suppliers have been assessed against Supplier Platinum Rules and drive to 100% compliance with stakeholders.
  • To ensure that risk reduction / cost reduction programs are implemented and effective.
  • To perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz FSQ, Environmental, Health & Safety and Ethical & Human Resource Policies, programs and goals.

About you:

  • Degree qualified in Bachelor of Science- Food Science or similar.
  • Ability to analyse and problem solve is paramount- along with good organisation and planning skills.
  • It is a fast paced and dynamic work environment where the workload depends on changing business requirements so you would need to be flexible and able to perform the routine tasks as well as rise to the challenge of ad hoc requests
  • Auditing experience in food safety and quality preferred
  • Previous QA experience in food manufacturing
  • Ability to travel within ANZ zone to complete audits
  • Driver's license required.
