Job Description
The Technology & Product Group (TPG) Workforce Development (WFD) Onboarding team focuses on providing a best-in-class global onboarding experience for new team members. As a TPG WFD Onboarding Specialist, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to manage and facilitate onboarding processes across all TPG global locations. This role is part of the Global TPG WFD Onboarding and Job Rotation Team.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Facilitate orientation courses and workshops both in-person and to new team members, leaders, and onboarding buddies and mentors.
- Perform onboarding sustaining responsibilities, including the review of the TPG headcount forecast to identify new hire start dates, sending new hire welcome emails, organizing new hire and intern onboarding cohorts, enrolling new team members into training courses, and working with leaders to identify onboarding mentors and buddies for new hires.
- Use metrics to evaluate and improve onboarding programs and courses.
- Coordinate with leaders to create, review, and improve onboarding plans for new team members based on their functional group and job role.
- Provide inputs to improve work efficiency and quality.
- Pull data and create reports to evaluate onboarding processes and opportunities for improvement.
- Has experience with sharePoint editing and development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with in-person and virtual classroom facilitation
- Excellent written and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
- Solid capability in data extraction, analysis, and reporting using advanced Excel functions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in a collaborative environment focused on team approaches to solving problems
- Solid critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical abilities
- Self-motivated and directed, with a high level of initiative
- Experience in automating manual processes to improve efficiency and quality is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, human resources, business management or equivalent work experience is required
