Job Description

Primary Location:

Nampa, Idaho

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic:This position requires basic understanding of power and hand tools. Successful candidate will be responsible for repair, installation and services of production equipment in a beverage production facility. Must be able to demonstrate technical skills and ability to trouble shoot equipment malfunctions.

  • Visually Inspect and test machinery and equipment.
  • Listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunction.
  • Work independently and in a collaborative environment properly communicating operational variation with supervisors, managers and other maintenance team members to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently disassemble, and install new or repaired parts.
  • Clean and lubricate bearings, gears, shafts and misc. parts as well as perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Repair, Assemble and Install the following systems: piping, pneumatic, and hydraulic, to include gauges, valves, pressure regulators, etc.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate cutting torch, welding equipment, grinders, drills, jigs, and repair or fabricate counters, benches, partitions, and misc. wood structures.
  • Repair and maintain physical structures sitewide.
  • Perform production operator duties as required.
  • Wear company provided uniform, required sanitation and safety equipment/devices in compliance with Federal, State and Local standards for beverage production operation.
  • Complete all required Food Safety and GMP training on continual basis.
  • Ability to read and interpret: Safety procedures, operational and maintenance instructions, equipment manuals.
  • Ability to write reports/correspondence and speak effectively to all levels of organization.
  • All other duties as assigned by manager.

$3500.00 retention bonus paid within 12 months.

Starting Pay $23.00 DOE

Generous Shift differential

Thursday through Saturday and E/O Wednesday 6 pm to 6 am

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
