Job Description

Parametrix is seeking a Transportation Engineer to support clients and projects in our Idaho region. This position will be based out of Boise, Idaho and joins our dedicated & established team of Transportation and Environmental professionals. This position will have flexibility to work remotely and come into the office and for mentorship, project collaboration, and client meetings.

WHO YOU ARE:

Relationship Focused & Connected: You have a strong interest in supporting our existing client relationships (Idaho Transportation Department, Ada County Highway District City of Nampa and other local municipalities) and helping us build new ones through positive client interactions and successful project delivery. Over time, you will also be involved with identifying strategic opportunities and implementing successful pursuit strategies.

Technically Focused: You are skilled in supporting and leading delivery of various transportation and multidisciplinary design projects with local municipal clients and state agencies. You're technically focused on transportation infrastructure improvements including multi-modal roadway enhancements, freeway/interchange reconstruction, corridor studies, intersection upgrades, and roundabout installation.

Experienced Task Lead: You have a BSCE and 5+ years of progressive engineering experience (PE License preferred). As a proven task lead, you can successfully deliver key components of projects and have a strong interest in developing into a project manager role.

Collaborator: Collaboration is key to success at Parametrix. You have a strong team orientation and can seamlessly integrate and collaborate within the transportation division and across all disciplines.

Flexible: You are interested and able to support varied clients, projects, and project types across the Oregon/Idaho region. Our highly collaborative team willingly adapts to provide crucial internal and external support.

Hard Working: You care deeply about delivering for your clients, and your quality work reflects this. The transportation team at Parametrix is hard-working, and we are looking for someone who can support them effectively. You are self-motivated but also thrive in a team environment, enjoying a variety of challenging projects and work environments.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $85,000-$100,000+. Salary will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.

Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program.
